Department of Business Economics organized a series of debate sessions on 2018 Budget Proposals of Sri Lanka and it was held on the 22^nd January 2018 at the premises of Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce. This event was organized with the aim of enhancing the knowledge on macroeconomic matters of the country while improving the skills of team work, leadership, critical thinking, policy making and communication skills of the second year undergraduates of the faculty. The debate sessions have been scheduled under two debate motions; ‘Is the 2018 budget directed towards a Blue-Green economy or not?’ and ‘Does the budget 2018 enable Sri Lanka to attract FDIs or not?’.
