The Research Sessions of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce is held biannually with the intention of providing a platform for researchers and young academics of the faculty to share their research findings, and promote a vibrant research culture within the Faculty.
The 12th in this series was held on 22nd February 2017 at the Faculty Board Room, Sri Soratha Mandiraya. Prof. Sampath Amaratunga, Vice Chancellor of the University graced the occasion as the chief guest. The dean of the Faculty Dr. U. Anura Kumara participated as the Guest of Honor.
The event was well attended with over 125 academics in attendance. Dr. Ayoma Sumanasiri, Senior Lecturer, Department of Commerce, delivered the keynote address. The event was co-chaired by Dr. Seshika Kariyapperuma and Dr. Lasith Gunawardena.
