SUMMARY:Beach Clean Up By The Society of Industrial Scholars
DESCRIPTION:“ The annual Uni-In Alliance symposium is organized to be held for the 5th time in University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJP) by the students (125) of B.Sc (hons) degree in Applied sciences program-FAS. The theme of the symposium is Science-Protect-Ocean-Life. As this year our university celebrates it’s 60th anniversary\, the symposium and it’s theme orients in bringing light to the glory of our university history. Going by the theme\, the Society of Industrial Scholars has organized a CSR project to ring a bell for the life without a voice in the ocean. The CSR project aims in a beach clean-up conducted at Jungle beach for spreading the theme among public by setting an example. The members of the society will participate in the beach clean-up event on 25 th January 2019.”
