DESCRIPTION:The University Business Linkage (UBL) Cell of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura has organized a Workshop on Innovation & Patenting Process to be held on Tuesday\, June 11th\, 2019 from 8.30 AM to 5.00 PM at Seminar Hall 1 of the Faculty of Graduate Studies of University of Sri Jayewardenepura \nThe session will comprise of extensive discussions on Intellectual Property management\, law and Prior art search led by distinguished resource persons from the National Intellectual Property Office (NIPO) of Sri Lanka. \nResearch supervisors\, research students and anyone who wishes to learn about IP policies are highly encouraged to participate. \nPlease bring your laptop for hands-on experience in guided prior art search. \nKnowledge on Patenting Process and Prior art search will be vital in the future commercialization of research outputs in line with the new IP policy of the USJP. \nSince seating is limited please register via https://forms.gle/w4nHn8MBuw2ooop5A to reserve your seat. \nRefreshments will be provided. \nFor any clarifications please contact: \nLakalya – 071 983 8971\nTrishan – 077 111 5565
