DESCRIPTION:The Faculty of Urban and Aquatic Bioresources\, University of Sri Jayewardenepura\, is committed to the development and sustainable utilization of urban and aquatic bioresources through excellence in education\, research\, and innovation. In line with this vision\, the faculty proudly presents its first research conference\, the Annual Research Conference on Bioresources 2026 (ARCoB 2026). ARCoB 2026 is a dynamic platform that brings together undergraduate researchers\, academics\, industry professionals\, and other stakeholders to exchange knowledge\, showcase innovations\, and discuss emerging research in urban and aquatic bioresources. The conference aims to promote scientific inquiry and the dissemination of knowledge\, and to encourage evidence-based approaches to address current environmental\, social\, and economic challenges. \nAs the Faculty’s premier research event\, ARCoB 2026 seeks to cultivate a vibrant research culture\, strengthen collaborations between academia and industry\, enhance the visibility of student and faculty research\, and advance knowledge and sustainable development in urban and aquatic bioresources. The theme of the conference is ‘Exploring Urban and Aquatic Bioresources Toward a Sustainable Blue-Green Economy’.
