DESCRIPTION:  \n \nThe Department of Business Economics will host a Ceremony on 29th December 2021\, to felicitate Senior Professor Sampath Amaratunge\, Professor Chair of Department of Business Economics and Chairman of University Grants Commission\, in honor of being awarded “The Order of the Rising Sun\, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon” by the Emperor of Japan. The formal ceremony will be held at the Senate Boardroom\, the University of Sri Jayewardenepura on 29 December 2021 from 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. and all academic and non-academic staff members of the University are warmly welcome to be a part of this event.
