Sri Lanka Economics Research Conference (SLERC) 2015

The Sri Lanka Forum of University Economists (SLFUE) is a network of all Departments and Units of Economics within the Sri Lankan state university system which was initiated in 2012 with the objective of promoting closer co-operation, dialogue, collaborative research and mutual enhancement among the academics in the field of Economics. The Sri Lanka Economics Research Conference (SLERC) is the major annual event organized by the SLFUE. For the year 2015, the Department of Business Economics of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura organizes the SLERC 2015 with the intention to provide a platform for the ideas on ‘Inclusive Growth towards Economic Transformation’. Dr. Saman Kelegama, one of the reputed economists in the country and the Executive Director of the Institute of Policy Studies  will provide the keynote speech and the World Bank will participate as a panelist in the panel discussion. For the fourth consecutive year the SLERC is scheduled to be held on 20^th and 21th November 2015.

The important dates of SLERC 2015 are as follows.

• Extended Abstract Submission (for Presentations and Poster Session): 20^th July 2015
• Notification to Authors: 03^rd August 2015
• Revision and Re-submission: 18^th September 2015
• Final Notification to Authors: 19^th October 2015
• Registration for Participation: 03^rd November 2015
• Dates of Conference: 20^th and 21^st November 2015
