Research Awards – University of Sri Jayewardenepura

In view of promoting and strengthening the research activities of the University, the Council of University of Sri Jayewardenepura has initiated an award scheme to the permanent staff members attached to the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2015. Certificates and cash awards will be presented based on following eight categories according to the Guidelines indicated in the scheme.

 

Applications are open now. Closing date is May 20, 2016

 

Award Categories (Click to submit your application)

  1. An article published in abstract form in a local conference proceeding or a symposium
  2. An article published in abstract form in a foreign conference proceeding or a symposium
  3. An article published in a non-refereed Journal
  4. An article published in a refereed Journal (non-indexed Journal)
  5. An article published in a refereed Journal (indexed Journal)
  6. An article published in a SCI Journal
  7. Researcher having the highest citations for the year (Three Awards for each Faculty*)
  8. Researcher having the highest h-index for the year (Three Awards for each Faculty*)
  9. Early Career Research Award (less than 40 years)
  10. Vice Chancellor’s Award for the Researcher of the Year (Follow the CVCD guidelines)
