To celebrate and commemorate the rich cultural beginnings, the International Conference on Oriental Languages will be held on 20th February 2019. Organized by the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences specially to celebrate 6oth anniversary of University of Sri Jayewardenepura, this conference will witness the gathering of researchers nationally and also internationally especially from the region engaged in the study and dissemination of knowledge on Oriental languages, namely Sinhala, Pali, Sanskrit, Prakrit and Tamil.
