Orientation Programme 2026 | Faculty of Applied Sciences
The Faculty of Applied Sciences of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura warmly welcomes its new first-year students to the Orientation Programme 2026, commencing on 6th April at 9.30 a.m. at the Bandaranayake Hall.
Thoughtfully designed to support a smooth transition into university life, the programme will feature engaging sessions including the Inaugural Session, Counselling Session, Library Orientation, Learning at the University, Mentoring Programme, and the FAS Open Day. These sessions aim to familiarise students with academic expectations, available resources, and opportunities for both personal and professional growth.
More than just an introduction, this programme serves as a gateway for students to build meaningful connections, develop essential skills such as leadership, communication, and teamwork, and embark on a rewarding academic journey.
