Sinhala and Tamil New Year Festival ‘Haritha Wasanthaya 2019’ annually organized by the Department of Forestry and Environmental Science of Faculty of Applied Sciences was held on 4th April 2018 at the Department premises.

In line with the 60th Anniversary celebrations, the sound of music unique to the University will be staged at the University on 04th April 2019.  

A traditional shanthi karmaya (ceremonial dance) will be held to invoke blessings upon the University premises in line with the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations on 6th April 2019.
