The 115th Commemoration Ceremony of the Most Venerable Hikkaduwe Sri Sumangala Nayake Thero will be held on 29 April 2026 at the University premises.
The programme will commence at 8.45 a.m. with the offering of Amisa Pooja at the University Buddha Shrine. This will be followed by the Commemorative Oration at 9.15 a.m. at the Sumangala Hall, delivered by Venerable Dr. Mawatagama Pemananda Thero, Head of the Department of Sanskrit, Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka.
