HRM Senior Lecturer Ms. T.L. Sajeevanie, receives Commonwealth Academic Grant

Ms. T.L. Sajeevanie a Senior Lecturer in the Department of HRM, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura; has been awarded with the “Association of Commonwealth Universities Early Career Academic Grant”

The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) is the world’s first and oldest international university network, established in 1913. The awards were launched to mark the 100th Anniversary of the Commonwealth Universities Association. The awards are aimed at the early career staff at member universities who have not previously had the opportunity to travel to other Commonwealth countries as part of their professional development, and are typically used for attendance at an academic conference, or visit to a potential collaborator.

The award holders receive a grant of up to GBP 2000 affording them the opportunity to attend a conference or academic meeting abroad where they can exchange ideas and build strong connections with fellow academics from all around the world.

University of Sri Jayewardenepura is one of over five hundred members of the association, spread over fifty countries.
