The awarding of Mahapola Scholarships to selected students of the academic year 2013/14, took place on 19th January 2016. The occasion was lead by Vice Chancellor Prof.Sampath Amaratunge with the presence of faculty deans, Prof.Sudantha Liyanage, Prof.Surangi Yasawardene, Mr.Lasantha Nawaratne, Dr.Anura Kumara, the Registrar Mr.Britto, Director of Student Welfare division Prof.Hemantha Kottawa and Snr.Asst.Registrar Mrs.Thushari Malkanthi.
