The new Research Council office (Research Affairs) was opened on 10th of May 2021 at the first floor of the Administration Building of University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
The Research Council of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura was established in the year 2016 with the broad view of facilitating conduct of high quality research, promoting dissemination of knowledge generated nationally and internationally and contributing significantly for the national development through establishing and expanding research centers targeted at nationally important issues. Many Research Centers are published under the Research Council of USJ.
