USJ Alumni Association’s executive committee meeting held at Alumni Association’s Office in the university premises on December 4, 2022. Main purpose of this event was to give special thanks to the Vice Chancellor Snr Prof Sudantha Liyanage who is going on sabbatical leave soon. Alumni Association Executive Committee gave special thanks to Snr Prof Liyanage for his contribution made to the university, to the Alumni Association and giving an office to the Alumni Association.
Furthermore, the executive committee concluded to hold the Annual General Meeting of the alumni association in year 2023 (dates to be determined later) and to held “Sri Jayewardenepura Pradeepa Pranama” award ceremony in year 2023.
President of Alumni’s Association W.K.H Wegapitiya, Prof. Abeyrathna Bandara- Secraraty of the Alumni Association, Emeritus Prof. Sunil Ariyarathna, Chairman of UGC Snr Prof. Sampath Amarathunga, Prof. Shirantha Heenkenda, Prof. Hiran Amarasekera, Prof. R M Ratnayake and Ranjit Iddamalgoda were among the guest who participated to this event.
