Quantity Surveyor on Assignment Basis
Introduction:
The Capital Works and Planning Division of the University is responsible for handling Capital Projects, while the Land, Building and Infrastructure Development Division undertakes Renovation and Rehabilitation Projects of the University. The service of a Quantity Surveyor required to handle both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract activities for projects undertaken by both divisions.
Qualification:
(i) Degree in Quantity Surveying from a University recognized by the UGC with at least one (01) year relevant experience.
OR
(ii) Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying with three (03) years’ relevant experience / NVQ level 06 with three (03) years’ relevant experience.
OR
(iii) Diploma in Quantity Surveying with five (05) years’ relevant experience / NVQ Level 05 with five (05) years’ relevant experience.
OR
(iv) Certificate in Quantity Surveying with ten (10) years’ relevant experience / NVQ Level 04 with ten (10) years’ relevant experience.
Payment for the Assignment:
Payment will be made in accordance with the table given below, based on the percentage rate quoted by the candidate.
Note:
• The majority of the present projects are within limits of less than Rs. 25 Mn and Rs. 26 Mn – 50Mn
• Payments will be made after completion of pre contract and post contract stages.
Age: Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.

Venue : Boardroom No.02, Administration Building, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Gangodawila, Nugegoda.

01. National Identity Card and Birth Certificate
02. Original certificates of relevant Educational and Professional Qualifications
03. Certificates related to work experience
04. Any other relevant certificates
05. Duly filled percentage table for the service of Quantity Surveying as given in the table below
