The University of Sri Jayewardenepura will entertain applications for the under mentioned posts from suitably qualified persons up to 10th April, 2015.

(b) Department of Forensic Medicine
(c) Department of Obstetrics & Gyneacology
(d) Department of Parasitology
(e) Department of Pathology
(f) Department of Paediatrics
(g) Department of Pharmacology
(h) Department of Physiology

The applications for the above Posts should be accomplished with the followings in terms of the Establishment Circular Letter 04/2010 of 19.03.2010 and Commission Circular No. 916 of 30.09.2009.

  • The Curriculum Vitae.
  • A self-assessment of career specifying the contribution to Teaching & Academic Development, Research & Creative Work, Dissemination of knowledge and University and National Development.
  • Three copies of Publications, Research Papers and Other Relevant Documents.
  • Titles of five (05) outstanding research papers (Publications)

Application forms and further particulars could be obtained from the Office of the Senior Assistant Registrar /Academic Establishment Division of this University up to 31st March, 2015 by personally calling over or by post sending a self-addressed stamped envelope 25.5c.m.x 10c.m in size to reach the Senior Assistant Registrar/Academic Establishment of this University or could be downloaded from the University web site www.sjp.ac.lk

Duly completed applications with the relevant documents should be forwarded under registered cover indicating the post applied for on the top left-hand corner of the envelop to reach the Senior Assistant Registrar/Academic Establishment Division, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Gangodawila, Nugegoda on or before the closing date of applications.

Applicants from University System/ Government Departments/ Cooperation/ Statutory Boards should channel their applications through the Head of their respective Institutions.

The University reserves the right to shortlist the candidates Applications which do not conform to these requirements, incomplete applications and application received after the closing date will be rejected without intimation.
