ශ්රී ජයවර්ධනපුර විශ්ව විද්යාලයේ 12 වැනි බාහිර උපාධි ප්රදානොත්සවය 2017 ජනවාරි මස 4 සහ 5 යන දෙදින කොළඹ බණ්ඩාරනායක අනුස්මරණ ජාත්යන්තර සම්මන්ත්රණ ශාලාවෙදී පැවැත්විය. උපාධි ප්රදානය ශ්රී ජයවර්ධනපුර විශ්ව විද්යාලයේ කුලපති අති පුජ්ය මහාචාර්ය බෙල්ලන්විල විමලරතන තෙර සහ ශ්රී ජයවර්ධනපුර විශ්ව විද්යාලයේ උපකුලපති මහාචාර්ය සම්පත් අමරතුංග මහතාගේ ප්රධානත්වයෙන් පැවැත්විය.
12th External Degree convocation of University of Sri Jayewardenepura was held on 4th and 5th of January 2017 at Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall – Colombo. His Grace the Most Venerable Prof. Bellanwila Wimalarathana Thero, the Chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Vice chancellor of the University conferred the Degrees.
3 sessions were held on 04th January 2017 as General Degree in Bachelor of Commerce (External) , General Degree in Bachelor of Science Management (Public) (External) and General Degree in Bachelor of Science Business Administration (External). General Degrees in Bachelor of Arts (External) were conferred On 5th January 2017.
