Ms.F.S.Idroos, Probationary Lecturer attached to the Department of Zoology, recently won the Excellent Paper Award at the 11th International Academic Conference on Development of Science and Technology, held in Singapore, on 19th and 20th December 2015. Her paper was titled “Development of a laboratory scale and filter using Microcystin-LR degrading bacterium Basillus cereus”. This research was supervised by Prof.Pathmalal Manage and was funded by the National Research Council.
