The paper titled Sri Lankan Media Discourse: In Transition? presented by Indira J Mawelle, Senior Lecturer of the Department of English, FHSS, at the International Conference on Business, Sociology and Applied Sciences (ICBSAS ’14) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, last year, has won the award for the Best Paper of the session on the Social Sciences. This paper which has been selected as the best out of a number of papers presented is published in the International Conference Proceedings of ICEHM 2014, with the ISBN 978-93-82242-83-3.
