Innovative fermenter for rice flour was developed by Department of Food Science of USJ

This innovative fermentation chamber was designed and developed by the research team headed by Prof. S.B. Navaratne (Department of Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura) and Prof. (Mrs). C.M. Navaratne (Department of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna) along with the research assistant Miss. A.R.M.H.A. Rathnayake (Ph.D. Candidate)  Department of Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura and the technical assistants Miss. N.V.G.S. Madushika and Miss. B.A.N. Niketha under the technical grant of the National Science Foundation, Sri Lanka (Grant number: TG/2017/Tech-D/07).
