The website of the International Research Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences-2016 (IRCHSS:2016) (irchss.sjp.ac.lk) was officially launched by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, at the Faculty Board Meeting on the 9th March 2016. The launch of the website, which offers quick and easy access to essential information on IRCHSS-2016, is part of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences’ ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and availability of information to researchers, professionals and the public worldwide.
The website was created by a team – directed by Prof. Hiran Amarasekera (Dept. of Forestry and Environmental Sciences), patronised by Mr Lasantha Nawarathna (Dean/FHSS) and technologically-designed by Naveendra Sampath and Dulanjaya Chamal (Computer Centre/FAS) in response to the instructions provided, and requirements made by Dr Chitra Jayathilake (Conference Chair), Mr Senani Harishchandra (Conference Secretary) and Mr Neranja Bandara (Conference Committee Member).
