The Japura Alumni Australia Inc. (JAAI) is an association incorporated in Australia with the primary objective of assisting undergraduates of the university in pursuing their tertiary education. The Japura Scholarship Fund (JSF) established in 2001 by JAAI has taken over the task of providing Rs. 2500 to blossoming undergraduates of all faculties who are burdened with financial difficulties, depending on their academic success as well their future plans and aspirations. While each applicant’s Sporting Excellence and Social Engagement weighed 20% in the selection criteria, their academic excellence and income/financial considerations weighed 40% each.

The scholarship recipients were selected by JAAI’s Scholarship Committee according to a set of strict internal guidelines and over 20 deserving students were awarded this scholarship as a result. The awarding ceremony was held on 6^th December 2016 at the university premises.
