Sri Lanka University Games ( SLUG ) 2016 started on the 1st September at the Wayamba University. Badminton, Basketball, Baseball, Carrom, Chess, Cricket, Elle, Hockey, Swimming, Taekwondo, Tennis, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Netball, Rugby, Football, Karate, Wrestling, Rowing, Table Tennis, and Athletics.
University of Sri Jayewardenepura is still ahead in medal list of SLUG – 2016.
At the end of the 6th day of the Competition University of Sri Jayewardenepura has won 6 Gold medals, 13 Silver medals, and 11 bronze medals.
