Ms. Amaya Kalukottage of the Dept. of Sports Science won the bronze medal at Central South Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championship – 2021

Ms. Amaya Kalukottage, a first year student of the Department of Sports Science, Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura has won the bronze medal for Sri Lanka in the women’s team event at the Central South Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championship – 2021. The championship was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Accordingly, the gold medal was won by Uzbekistan and the silver medal was won by India. Ms. Sapumi Arunodi and Ms. Kaushani Chaturya also represented Sri Lanka in the championship. Mr. Ranjana Tharanga has been acted as the team’s coach and national coach.
