Opening Ceremony of the New admin building of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura was held on 17th December 2018. The new building was opened at an auspicious time by the Vice Chancellor of the University; Prof. Sampath Amaratunge amidst the pariththa chanting. Honorable Maha Sangha, Prof. Sudantha Liyanage, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof. D. P. S. Chandrakumara, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr. S. A. A. M Subasinghe, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mr. Gnanasiri Brito, Registrar of the University, academic members and non-academic members were among the participant in this auspicious ceremony.
