Placement seminar for the students who have been planned to carry out their internship programme under the supervision of “National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA)”, had been organised by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and was taken place on 23rd August 2017 on 8.30 am at Bandaranayake Hall of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

Prof. D. P. S. Chandrakumara, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr. Shirantha Heenkenda, Internship Director (Faculty Coordinator), Dr. W. M. Yaparathne , Chairman of the Soft Skills Development Unit, Dr. K. M. Alexandar, Secretary of the Soft Skills Development Unit and Head of the Department of Archaeology, Mr. Gamini Weerasinghe, Head of the Department of Economics as well as Department coordinators of the Internship programme participated to the placement seminar.
