The Torch relay of SLUG 2016 reached University of Sri Jayewardenepura on 30th August 2016. The torch was handed over to our athletes by those of the University of Moratuwa and it was then passed onto the athletes of the University of Visual and Performing Arts.
This relay commenced on 26th August from the University of Jaffna and it will reach the University of Wayamba – Kuliyapitiya on the 1st September for the lighting of the cauldron during the Opening Ceremony of SLUG 2016.
