The first-ever art concert organized by a state university in Sri Lanka for external degree students was held on 08th October 2025 at the Bandaranayake Hall, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Organized under the Vidumini Skills and Employability Enhancing Project by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and the External Degrees and Extension Courses Unit, the event aimed to develop the aesthetic skills of students following the Bachelor of Arts (External) general degree.
The concert featured competition in Dance, Singing, and Drama, judged by renowned experts in the field of arts. Certificates were also awarded to the winners of the Vidumini Mobile Photography Competition. Congratulations to all the talented participants who made this historic evening a remarkable success.
