The University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJ) has become the third-best university in Sri Lanka according to the THE World University Rankings 2024, published yesterday (September 27, 2023). USJ was listed as a reporter-status university in the rankings last year (2023 ranking), but it has improved its performance significantly this year. USJ now has a world ranking of 1501+.
THE World University Rankings is one of the most prestigious and comprehensive university rankings in the world. It is based on 13 performance indicators that measure an institution’s performance across four areas: teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook.
