Workshop on University-Industry Collaborative Research for industry professionals,  organized under the MoU between the Faculty of Managment Studies and Commerce of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and Sheffield Hallam University, UK, was held on 12th September 2018 at the new boardroom of the Sri Soratha Building.

Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Vice-chancellor of the University, Dr. U. Anura Kumara, Dean of the Faculty of Managment Studies and Commerce graced the event. Also, the workshop was attended by academic members of the faculty and industry professionals.

The purpose of the workshop was to explore potential research opportunities available in the industry for the fields of operations Managment and Supply Chain and to understand the industry expert’s attitude towards the university-industry collaborative research.
