The Business Economics Students’ Association (BIZCON) of the Department of Business Economics, FMSC successfully organized the Annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Project, “Colouring Smiles 2018” on 20th August 2018.
Traditionally, “Colouring Smiles” project was aimed to provide physical facilities to underprivileged schools in the country. By taking a step further, this time the project was designed to emphasize the importance of education for schoolchildren of two rural schools namely Kosgama Vidyalaya and Baduldena Vidyalaya located in Haldummulla and to give them an unforgettable experience through an educational trip to Colombo area. The destinations of the trip were University of Sri Jayewardenepura, National Museum, Vihara Maha Devi Part, Nelum Pokuna Theater and Mount Lavinia beach.
