The University of Sri Jayewardenepura will entertain applications for the under-mentioned post from the suitably qualified candidates on contract basis.
FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY
- DEPARTMENT OF MATERIALS AND MECHANICAL TECHNOLOGY
POST OF LECTURER ( ON CONTRACT)
Subject Area – Mechatronics Technology
- Candidates must be qualified with BSc, Engineering Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering First Class or Second Class (Upper Division)
Or
BEng Tech Honours Degree Specialised in Mechatronics Technology with First Class or Second Class (Upper Division)
- Preference will be given to candidates who possess a PhD or a Master’s Degree involving full- time research of at least 24 months in the relevant field.
- Industrial experience in Robotics, Machine Design, Industrial Automation, Embedded System, Image Processing, or Machine Learning will be considered as an added advantage.
Contract Period :
One Year
Selection Criteria :
Selection will be made by a structured interview.
POST OF LECTURER (ON CONTRACT)
Approximate Gross Salary Rs. 180,152 /-
Selected candidates will contribute 10% from their monthly salary to the Universities Provident Fund while the University will make a contribution 7% to the Universities Provident Fund. In addition, they will become contributors to the Employees’ Trust Fund which the University will contribute an amount equivalent to 3% of the Salary.
