The Director of the Dengue Research Center of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura Prof. Neelika Malavige was interviewed by the “Ada” newspaper on 27th February 2017 regarding its promising medical breakthrough in the field of dengue.

Accordingly they had imported the drug “Rupatadine” with special permission from the Health ministry in order to experiment with and their research concluded bringing many positive responses.
