Inauguration Ceremony of the leisure talk series “Coffee with Evening Leisure Talk” organized by the ‘Career Skills Development Society’ of the Career Guidance Unit in the University of Sri Jayewardenepura was held on 15th February 2018 at the Soratha Building Main Hall. Director of the Career Guidance unit; Dr. Sudath Manjula Amarasena, Career Advisors including Mr. Sameera Jayawardene, Mrs. Chathuranagani Thennakoon and several academic members of the University participated in the inauguration ceremony.
“Coffee with Evening Leisure Talk” is a programme organized aiming in developing students’ confidence to enhance their communication in English. End of this programme participant can obtain a certificate after facing successfully an oral test. This time our university volunteer academics also join this programme as mentors and give guidance to develop students’ confidence to enhance their communication in English. This is a real platform for the students who have no confidence and fear to use English language. CSDS offer free coffee for all participants in “Coffee with Evening Leisure Talk”.
