“Sustainable Development through Multidisciplinary Research”
Fulfilling its mission for the year 2017 “4th International Conference on Multidisciplinary Approaches – ICMA 2017”, Jointly organized by FGS of USJP, Ministry of Science, Technology and research and National Science Foundation was held on 20th,21st and 22ndof September at Hikka Tranz by Cinnomomn, Hikkaduwa. Honorable minister Susil Premajayantha, Minister of Science, Technology and Research, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Keynote address was delivered by Professor Paul Sanders, Queensland University of technology, Australia. The Vice Chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Several Heads of the Departments, Professor Seow ta wee, Dr. Madhav Karki, Professor Anu Rammohan, Zachary A. Lomo, graced the event as guests.The conference was chaired by Prof. Hemanthi Ranasinghe , Dean, Faculty of Graduate Studies,University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Several Department Heads, Professors, academic members and researchers have taken part in this conference.
