The new year blessing ceremony 2021 organized by the university Registrar and the community of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura according to health guidelines was held on the 01st of January 2021 at 8.30 am at the university Buddha Mandiraya. Honorable Maha Sangha, the Vice-Chancellor of USJ; Senior Prof. Sudantha Liyanage, deans of the faculties, heads of departments, academic and non-academic staff members participated in the auspicious event and ceremoniously begun the year after warmly welcoming the New Year 2021.
