The orientation programme of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura commenced on the 23rd of February, 2015 with an Inauguration Ceremony. The event was held at the Bandaranayake Hall and was graced by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sampath Amaratunge and the Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, Dr. U. Anura Kumara and other members of the academic and non-academic staff. It was an august gathering and comprised of several inspiring speeches that indubitably bolstered the spirits of the new students and encouraged them to reach for greater heights.
