Invited Lecture delivered by Prof. Ranil De Silva, Director of World Class University Grant Project-USJP , Director, Interdisciplinary Center for Innovation in Biotechnology & Neuroscience, on the title of “ Cultural and Lifestyle Factors in Cognitive Screening And Neuropathology of Ageing: A South Asian Experience ” at ” Brain Ageing and Dementia in Developing Countries ” Conference held in Nairobi, Kenya held from 5th – 11th December 2016.
It was successful in establishing fruitful international collaborations with Prof. Henrik Zetterberg, University of Gothenburg, Sweden (Medical School world rank – 99) and Institute of Neurology, University College London (UCL), UK (Medical School world rank – 09) with fully funding for investigation of biomarkers on the effect of Ceylon natural products on neurodegenerative diseases.
