Japura is in the lead at SLUG (Sri Lanka University Games) 2019 after 18 games which is being held at University of Ruhuna. Only 5 more games are remaining in the SLUG and therefore it is likely that Japura will lead this competition and become SLUG 2019 Champions!

SLUG an event held in every three years organized by Sri Lanka Universities Sports Association (SLUSA), which is also known as the Sri Lanka University Olympic Game.

Japura sportsmen and women have won three consecutive SLUG in years 2015, 2016, 2017 and they looking forward bring the trophy back to Japura in year 2019.
