A new Hostel complex of University of Sri Jayewardenepura was declared open by Vice Chancellor Prof. Sampath Amaratunge on 28th of February 2015. This new hostel is named as Ven. Baddegama Sri Piyarathane Hostel and it provides accommodation for 773 students.
