පුජ්ය වැලිවිටියේ ශ්රී සෝරත නාහිමියන්ගේ 54 වන ගුණ සැමරුම වෙනුවෙන් පැවති බෝධි පූජා පිංකම 2017 ජූලි මස 17 දින පුජ්ය පදලංගල ධම්මදේව ස්වාමින් වහන්සේගේ ප්රධානත්වයෙන් පැවැත්විය. මේ අවස්ථාව සඳහා ශ්රී ජයවර්ධනපුර විශ්වවිද්යාලයේ උපකුලපති මහාචාර්ය සම්පත් අමරතුංග මහතා සහ ශ්රී ජයවර්ධනපුර විශ්වවිද්යාලයේ ව්යවහාරික විද්යා පිඨයේ පීඨාධිපති මහාචාර්ය සුදන්ත ලියනගේ මහතා ඇතුළු පිරිසක් සහභාගිවිය.
Bhodi Puja Ceremony for the 54th Commemoration of Reverend Weliwitiye Sri Soratha Maha Thero was held on 17th July 2017 at the University premises. For this ceremony conducted by Ven. Padalangala Dammadewa Thero; Vice Chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura: Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences: Prof. Sudantha Liyanage, academic non academic members and undergraduates of the University were participated.
