The Inaugural ceremony of the newly initiated two postgraduate programs (Master of Science in Public Policy and Management and Master of Public Management Programs) was held on 15th March 2020 at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka.
Mr. Jinasiri Dadallage, the Former Secretary of Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Council, and Local Government, Sri Lanka delivered the keynote speech. Dr. U. Anura Kumara, the Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, Senior Processor G. Ariyawansa, the Chairman of the Board Studies (Management Studies and Commerce) Dr. L. A. Pavithra Madhuwanthi, Head- Department of Public Administration, and also Senior Professor Lalitha S. Fernando, Coordinator of the two postgraduate programs addressed the gathering. Compering of the session was done by Ms M.S.Dimuthu Kumari and vote of thanks was delivered by Ms R.M.N.N.Senevirathne.
